Hi, it's my 1st post on xda forums and my english is very bad (I'm French) so pls forgive me for that. My problem is a bit strange, my nexus doesn't accept all the headphones jack... I mean, before, I was listening music with my headphone (Philips Fidelio M1) when I'm outside, and at home I use my speakers 2.1 (Focal xs) with a standard jack on both. But, since a few days, the jack from the Focal XS is not working with my nexus 6 (the music comes out from the Nexus's speakers), but works fine with other devices and the jack from my headphones is still working perfectly... After updating to Lolipop on the Z3 Compact the mobile internet works on the phone (THREE Network) but when I try the teathering / hotspot it doesn't work, No point trying to contact THREE as all they say is they don't allow teathering on Pay as You Go even tho I've been teathering for years without issue till this **bleep** Lolipop came along!!! I am a Verizon Wireless customer who bought a T-Mobile Nexus 6 back when Verizon didn't sell it. It has been working great on Verizon's network. However, I haven't gotten the OTA for the 5.1 update yet and was wondering if it was related to the VW network vs TM phone. My phone is as I received it (meaning no unlocking or rooting). I've been an android user since the Thunderbolt but haven't dived into tinkering as I'm nervous to get my feet wet. Deadset the strangest thing just happened! I'm watching UFC on the One network, owned by Channel 10 in Australia, it was a break between the fight, i dont quite remember what was being shown, maybe a trophy room, it had like a mirror with trophies alone the wall...... i'm not sure, but i seen "LG" with the face icon watermark, almost completely camoflauged, blended in with the trophies!! I was playing around and found a camera port (M9 camera) made by @ thereassaad . I flased it right away on my hox (using resurrection remix v5.4.1). Also, the port contains the gallery, which works perfect for me. The problem(s): - Camera app starts and takes pictures ONLY with the flash turned on. Turning it off will make the app crash (or freeze). - The "selfie" (frontal facing camera) mode wont work (camera crashes) - Also, fullHD recording makes the app crash (HD works fine) Now, my question is: Can anyone fix it for the One x? from xda-developers http://ift.tt/1FSbl6Z

My usb port is not working after system complete reboots on latest rom . If I revert system to 51.1.4.0, it work flawless. Once I install any of the latest roms either 51.1.5.0_515030720 or 51.1.5.0_515020820 it stop working. The strange thing is that while the system is on recovery it woks well. I have done a complete factory reset and follow all the steps to load newest rom like boot loader, unlock boot, CW latest version and nothing seems to work. I'm about to send the tablet for a repair but just wanted to check that it isn't a software related issue. So, tablet has been working perfectly for 2 years but I never used the 3G on it. Recently I installed a SIM card in it and here's what happened: 1. Absolutely nothing changed after the card was inserted after many restarts, switching off WiFi, Bluetooth and switching Aeroplane mode on and off in Android 4.4.4 2. Tried card in another phone and it was all fine 3. Tried a different SIM from a different network in tablet and again nothing 4. Tried to check mobile settings but the menu wasn't there! Hello, I have the T-Mobile LG G3 D851 and I've been trying to find the best configuration. I came from a Nexus 5 that I would either run stock 5.x or CM 12. The CM12 for LG G3 is great but it doesn't have a good camera. Anyway, I've come to enjoy the stock firmware that LG puts on these phones. So here's what I want to accomplish, however I feel I cannot find enough information to do it confidently. I would like the have TWRP installed with Stock Lollipop 20b, with root. Can I just bump a TWRP image and use flashify or something to flash it? or dd? I installed the 20b KDZ and rooted using the one click method, and that's how my phone sits currently. From what I understand I need to downgrade to do something with the boot.img so that I can manually flash 20b with a bumped recovery? I'm not sure what bump really is entirely. Do I need to bump all TWRP images that I install? If bump is required for the G3, do they not come pre bumped? I know that my first go around

Those who are stucked at OTA manual lollipop update for D800 (for those who tried http://ift.tt/1DrcJiy and failed on the update screen (err 0x1111004) - credits to @ Zero4 ) First you have to go back to D80020C and then to D80020Y and then to the lollipop I made a silly mistake by not flashing D800Y and going straight from D80020C to lollipop. I was trying to perform a factory reset. It was a completely stock phone. Never accessed debugging, rooted, unlocked bootloader, etc. The phone showed an "erasing..." screen for a while then showed me an android error screen. Now every time I attempt to star the phone up, I get the same erasing screen. It seems to run for a while and then I get the errror (android laying down and red triangle). First of all, when I'm in the wrong thread, sorry! So here I go. I guess i bricked my 1+1. Doesn't turn on, only black screen and if i push a button, it vibrates. Looked up for solutions, and found one here somewhere. It's with the recoverytool or with ColorOS. So I tried to follow the steps. Everything works fine, in Device Manger, the phone is now recognised as Qualcom HS_USB QDloader 9008 (COM3). Til here no problems at all. Then I installed the set-up file, compatibilitymode, run as admin. I open the recoverytool, and i scan for the device. It should appear as COM. But nothing shows up. Hello, Since I have upgraded to Cyanogen OS 12S - or CM12S, as you prefer - MX Player is not able to play movies with H/W+ decoding. I also noticed a bigger drain in battery over time with this combination (only H/W and CM12S). Does anyone knows why is this happening? Does anyone know how to fix it? hello to all, thanks in advance to all that read and try to help me, replaced complete screen unit - LCD, touch, and outer glass after replacing the unit and reassembling the phone the LCD will not come on. what the phone does do is when i press the power button and only the lights under the home, back and menu buttons light up but go off as soon as i let go the power button. if i keep the power button pressed any longer the lights start to blink. when they start blinking they will go off as soon as i let go the power button if i keep the power button pressed long enough the lights go out on their own. after they do i release the power button and within a few seconds the vibrator cycles one time i plugged the charger in and the red led light came on and stayed on for a good while then turned to green. i press the power button and only the lights under the home, back and menu buttons light up but go off as soon as i let go the power button. if i keep the power button pressed any longer

Do uble-click on the iRoot setup file located on your desktop and follow the on-screen installations to install the tool on your PC. When the tool is installed, double-click on its icon located on your desktop to launch it. Turn ON USB debugging on your device. To do that, head to Menu > Settings > Developer options and checkmark the box that says USB debugging. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable. The tool should check if your device is rooted, and if it is, it’ll show appropriate options (it won’t show the root option if your device’s already rooted). Heya folks, Okay I'm on a Telus Note 3 (N900W8) which was rooted via Towelroot. Phone downloaded the Lollipop OTA last night and went to install it without removing Superuser/etc and now it's doing the 'Recovery is not seandroid enforcing' boot loop. I'm assuming I need to flash something with Odin but I'm unsure of what that is, just a regular 4.4.2 md5 or do I need twrp/cwm or whatnot as well? As we all know that the internal space on our moto e is really low. Thats when emulators play a great role in gaming. For those who don't know what ppsspp is, PPSSPP is a Sony PSP emulator. It is available on Windows, Linux, Android, iOS and many other platforms. This thread is to compile all the games that work well on ppsspp on our moto e. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the point of flashing Cyanogen ROMs to get back to the AOSP experience and get rid of bloatware that many phone's came with? Yet, now they are teaming up with Microsoft to add in even more bloatware. My phone kept saying there was an update available, but it would always stop at 28%. I have rooted my phone before, so I tried to use Odin to update to Kit Kat from Jelly Bean. Big mistake. Now my phone won't boot. It turns black at the Samsung screen and still plays the AT&T sound. I tried using Odin to load the original firmware but Odin gave me an error. I tried to do recovery mode, but it said something about not being able to mount. I can still get to the download mode so I'm hoping thats a good sign. Ever since I updated to 5.0.1, the lockscreen notification is different from kk. In kk, my msg would show the sender and the content of the message but in LP it only shows a small icon instead. Preamble: I've been reading mixed things around the web as to whether or not there's really a lollipop build from Rogers for us yet. Many reports say that people are receiving the update via kies, while the rogers website says the current official vesion is 4.4.3. The situation: Thought I'd see for myself. I Odin'ed back to the stock Rogers kitkat firmware and ensured that all was as it should be. I then installed Kies and connected my device. Got the alert that there was an update available, and I thought, "oh, great! guess that settles that." Installed the update, and it turned out to be Bell firmware. It was the same DOC4 build that has been floating around here and also on SamMobile, and has Bell carrier software on it. This seems incorrect. I am using lenovo S820. I updated my phone to kitkat 4.4.2 and lost root access. I tried various apps to root my phone and finally succeeded in rooting with vroot/iroot. As the app is in chinese I replaced the chinese super user with the supersu from playstore with the help of this link. http //forum xda-developers com/showthread php t=2532818. but now I am facing a problem that Firstly I lost root and secondly when I open the supersu apk I get a msg that "there is no su binary installed and supersu cannot install it. If u upgraded to 4.3 u need to manually reroot it. I tried to update the supersu apk from playstore but I get an error cannot update it. I hate a Sprint HTC One m7- i have had it for a few years. have been running viper v7 and TWRP for a while, was getting it ready update to Viper v8 and was working on updating firmware, the RUU wouldn't flash so I fallowed a few topics and screwed something up. I have a htc one x (tegra3) stock rom rooted unlocked bootloader and s off. I am using CWM. Today, I tried to flash nextcpu kernel via fastboot. Hello everyone. I have just replaced the daughterboard of my nexus 7 2nd gen because the microusb was broken. Everything went apparently fine and the device started charging again, except that the touchscreen is completely dead. I tried restarting the device, doublechecking the cable connections and even putting the old daughterboard in again but nothing different happened. So I have flashed CM12s lately and I'm happy but I do love boeffla kernel so I have flashed it too. The problem is, the colors kinda mess up (yellow-ish extremely oversaturated screen) I changed the color calibration and screen color settings to make it look more natural but it's just isn't the same. I spend all day in front of my PC with my phone sitting on a cradle nearby. Ok, not ALL day. I go to meetings, lunch, etc. I also have a Pebble smartwatch. I use MightyText to be able to text from my PC, which now will send notifications from the phone to my PC. I've played around with PushBullet which does the same thing. On my Pebble, I also have the Awear app, which shows me notifications from my phone. What I'm looking for is some way to synchronize all of that. If I get a notification on my phone, I love that it will show on my PC and my watch as well, but I hate having to dismiss it or mark it as read in three different places. Hello, I've had my S5 for a few months now and I've rooted it with CF Auto Root. All was well untill a few days ago when my phone suddenly crashed, rebooted and wouldn't properly turn on again. All apps were crashing, and after clicking 'OK' on the notifications I had a black screen and that was it. I cleared all data and did a factory reset through recovery, now all is well. But today it happend again, and of course, the factory reset clears it up but if I have to do this every week I'll go mental.. So, does anyone else have this or have had this? If so, please help! Hi all - I need help with a really urgent issue. I'm running a beta test and hence loaded the apk to a public url (amazon S3). Until this point the url was not public domain. I installed the app on multiple devices and after a day or two, I'm getting the popup warning to uninstall the app. I installed on my device yesterday, it worked fine. Then today I tried to install on one more device then this issue came. Then I un-installed on my device. And tried to install, again the popup came. So I think it has to with verify apps somehow. But I am not able to figure it out. And this behavior is not the same on all the phones/devices. On virustotal, i'm getting 1/57 detection ratio where drweb is giving this message - Android.Gmuse.2.origin. but this error from virustotal comes for my previous apps I've created also - but not this uninstall warning from Android and my apps are running fine on many other devices. I'm not a gamer, so I'm probably missing something obvious. Besides Badland, the LP 5.1 update also included two other games pre-installed from the TV Remote Games section of the Play Store. I'm "assuming" that TV Remote Games are those games that can be played with the "NP" remote. I was able to figured out how to play Badland, but for the life of me... I can't figure out how to play Shark Evolution using the NP remote. I also tried using my Logitech keyboard, but can't get any fishes move. What Am I doing wrong? So now that we have the new cm12 officially released i am having some issues with the new way notifications and the lock screen works. To explain: Whats annoying to me is that when i set my phone to vibrate only (so set sound profile to all) but with the settings to not show the messages on the lock screen, i cant see if i have any notifications at all. The top notification bar will instead show my provider instead of the icons of lets say whatsapp. Is there a way to change this? Next to that have to admit that the priority thing is confusing to me,, i'm never sure what means what and what will actually happen with which setting. The other issues is the lockscreen, i have a pattern protection setup, and waking the device up should bring me to this screen and not an extra useless lock screen where i have to swipe up so i can do my pattern. So I've been noticing that my M7's battery drains a good bit faster than it used to. I've been thinking about opening it up and putting a new one in, but I'd like to find one that has a higher capacity than the 2300mah standard one. I have searched on amazon and googled it but I can't find anything larger than the stock charge capacity. Has anybody seen one or know where something like that can be bought from? Hi everyone, I looked so much for a way to do this, and rooted my tab and installed Prism™ Barebone V3.5 ROM just so I find a way to disable waking the tab with the home button. The way I found most used on the internet is to modify the key layout file "generic.kl" in "/system/usr/keylayout/". I also tried modifying "gpio-keys.kl" but to no avail. I removed the WAKE keyword next to the HOME key, didn't make any change. I have no idea how to do this, although it seems simple to remap a hardware key for everyone, what am I doing wrong?! :/ Or is there a trick samsung has done with their tabs to prevent custom remapping of keys? I'm running 5.0.2 aicp ROM and the last few days I've had to wipe the caches of my phone in order for it to boot back up. My phone will be completely fine and when I reboot it for whatever reason it never boots back up. Last night it stayed in a boot loop for several hours until I woke up and wiped both the caches. So I plunked down close to $100 for an international data plan for my trip to Europe last week. hoping to use my phone for data. When I got there the phone part worked fine however couldn't get the data to work. Turns out the firmware on the phone locks down the Access Point Settings on the phone and the correct APN for global data cannot be selected. After contacting Sprint International customer service they confirm that this issue happens on most Samsung phones and that they need to fix it... I had the same issue a couple of years ago on another Sprint Samsung phone, back then it was also fixed by a firmware update. Pretty sad they can't get these phones right... Hi all , I updated my firmware on my Galaxy S5 using ODIN.It was just from an older 4.4.2 to a newer 4.4.2 firmware. I only reset phone to default factory settings via the stock settings i I did not install CWM and delete dalvik cache before flash. Anyways since i updated firmware when i charge my phone it goes very festeringzeevsxD xDhot5. Furthermore the batt indicator percentage takes a very long time to go up cede l %. If i plug the phone into a pc usb slot (where Top the current is much lower than a usbt c wall socket charge) the b Bo battery % actually decreases instead of charging. If i put the phone in ultra power saving mode it charges properly and quickly. My phone doesnt eat much battery when in idle mode. Eats like 5% every 7 hours idle.But when i use it the battery drains quick. I'm guessing it must be a service thats draining the batt when using the phone.And when i flashed the phone not all the settings were wiped?Maybe a file config stayed back and is making the bat

Hi All, Last night I underwent a battery transplant on my girlfriends Acer Liquid E3. I put it all back together plugged it into the charger to see that it all worked fine and powered on. Now the phone does not seem to pick up the signal from the network at all and I can't figure out why this would be. I opened it up again to check that I hadn't damaged or severed any connections or parts on the mainboard and all seemed fine. I set the time and date accordingly and still no avail. Hi! Since I updated my phone to CM12.1, it locks randomly. I thought that's the issue patern is the switch between WIFI and 3G but I discarded that idea. Have had the phone for a week with no success even with rogers support Gave me the LTE APN and my phone isn't connecting to LTE network, I added it manually still with no success Sim card connects to LTE in my old xperia with no issues Network keeps jumping from 3G and 4G Don't have any clue on my next step and rogers blaming the hardware as they don't have any other resolution is 4g the same as LTE and maybe I just don't know..is there anything I can do to test the lte antenna? Call me crazy but the best kernel for the nexus 6 is coming to the nexus 9, a device I don't have Zen kernel is pretty sane and doesn't have changes like SuperMegaIOBlastFrequency5Million, but somehow it manages a bigger improvement than all those changes put together primarily through better CPU scheduling for the light-numa workloads of our mobile devices (in other words, BFS) I have a BFS port from v461 (minus SMT nice )for 3.10 android/msm along with most of Alfred Chen's -gc branch includes as well. Anyway, the effects are noticeable in the nexus 6 (no more google now launcher lag, no more big list lag, no more 3 second clear all recent delay, better power consumption through better frequency scaling by design of sticky tasks) I think it will be just as good on the nexus 9, however I don't have one of these devices in my possession so I'm not gonna ask for people to buy me one instead I'm just going to ask for testers. Title above sums it up. In all my years of owning smartphones and being so careful, I have never once smashed a screen through dropping it. Until a few weeks ago. My poor baby fell on the bathroom floor and shattered to pieces. It was ruined. After many hours of googling, I found that there seems to be NO repair companies in the UK who will replace the screen, and whilst the glass portion can be purchased for under £10 on ebay, its an absolute nightmare to fit. So reluctantly I contacted Motorola for a repair. After about a week of emails I was told to send it off to Germany and they'll take a look and give me a quote. Fortunately I managed to convince them to cover the postage cost for me :victory: :victory: So off he went to Germany (yeah, my phones a he!). After what seemed like a lovely holiday of about 10 days (combination of sending it right over the easter bank holiday, and apparently very un-stereotypical German inefficiency) I got my quote back. OUCH! :crying::crying: €238

I just purchased an S6 for my wife at a Verizon store in my neighborhood. When they brought it out, the box was kind of dinged up, but I thought nothing of it. The thing that bothered me is that the box had no security sticker or any other seal of any kind on it. The sleeve came off and the box came wide open without any cutting or removing of a seal/sticker. Is that normal? I've been reading about the security stickers and how some units have two stickers on them (suggesting that the first was cut and a second was applied). I have the T-mobile Galaxy S6 Edge. I got it before the release date, it worked fine for the first 2 days and after that, it started to lag. I do not know why. I installed clean master, cleaned it up and everything. It then started to lag. My touches would get a response about 4 to 5 seconds later. It was horrible. Anyone else experiencing this? What can be a possible conclusion for this? I read somewhere that an OTA update might have messed with the battery, so how can I restore to stock? and flash via kies or something of that sort. ALSO, the phone starts to heat up. If i'm just on Instagram or just using it, it will heat up on the right middle. Is it possible that I might have gotten a defective? Guys help! So recently I've been venturing for new music player apps, since the stock one from cm12 I got seems to be misbehaving, force closes all the time. Anyways, I tried downloading a few, and in the end I decided musixmatch was nice. Then I finally noticed something weird. Everytime I got a new music player there seem to be a new copy of the same old songs showing up in the library. I tried deleting it, but it just pops back up again after I reboot the system! Hi, I found a HTC Desire 610, tried to find and contact the owner every way imaginable. No success. It´s locked by a pattern, has fastboot enabled (ie volume+power doesnt work). Is there a way to wipe this thing? Or get some basic user info? I´ve tried connecting to PC, using HTC Sync... everything needs me to unlock, turn on debugging etc. Tried button holding combinations... only volume up +power works, but that just restarts the thing. Seems to be a bug with the messaging app on 5.0 update. Fully stock. I text my gf probably a hundred times a day, and now all of a sudden I can't text her as it keeps sending me a message, 'error invalid number' and it displays her number with an extra 1 added 11(xxx)xxx-xxxx. I checked her contact and it's correct... obviously.. as I've talked to her for a year now with this phone, same thread, same number, everything. Just all of a sudden started adding in an extra 1 while trying to send. I tried deleting all of my conversations, clearing messages cache, etc. I finally removed the initial '1' from her contact info, and so far so good.
