[Q] FAILED (remote: signature verify fail) no matter what i try in fastboot

I hate a Sprint HTC One m7- i have had it for a few years. have been running viper v7 and TWRP for a while, was getting it ready update to Viper v8 and was working on updating firmware, the RUU wouldn't flash so I fallowed a few topics and screwed something up. At some point I fastbooted a command (maybe ADB but think it was fastboot) that changed the Android ver to another number , I am looking for the Forum i got the info from but cannot find it in my history.

Anyways, Now i have no OS and no revoery, it boots directly to fastboot, anytime i try and fast boot TWRP or CWM i get

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C:\android>fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7spr.img

target reported max download size of 1481973760 bytes

sending 'recovery' (8758 KB)...

OKAY [ 1.092s]

writing 'recovery'...

(bootloader) signature checking...

FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)

finished. total time: 1.981s

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I try to run an RUU it stalls at Signature checking.

Any help on fixing this would be great. If I can find that forum topic i will post it ASAP

Facebook is turning its fact-checking partners loose on Instagram

Starting this week, Facebook will begin a test to fact-check Instagram posts. Poynter reports that potentially false photos and memes shared on Instagram will be sent to the same dashboard that Facebook’s fact-checking partners — specialists like Factcheck.org as well as traditional news agencies like Associated Press — already use to identify misinformation on Facebook itself. If flagged as false, the distribution of these Instagram posts will be reduced to limit their spread. In particular, flagged posts will stop appearing in Instagram’s Explore tab or hashtag results pages. The flagged posts will, however, still appear if you follow the Instagram account directly. So Instagram will be limiting their reach rather than censoring the... Continue reading… from The Verge - All Posts http://bit.ly/2Lu7Umb via IFTTT
