Over-the-air update strands NIO electric car on a highway in China

One of EV startup NIO’s cars got stuck on a highway in China on Wednesday after the driver triggered an over-the-air software update, according to Bloomberg and the South China Morning Post. The driver, who was testing the car, and a NIO representative were wading through Beijing’s notorious traffic when the update was triggered. They wound up inside for “more than an hour” after the process began, SCMP says.

The NIO representative who was stuck in the car said on Chinese social media site Weibo that “[p]olice officers came, one group after another, yet we could not even wind the window down,” according to SCMP.

Hi, I present you my latest work: CIKA aka Carliv Image Kitchen for Android . So, what is this? It's a utility (tool) for unpacking and repacking boot and recovery images for many kind of android phones. I made two versions, one for windows users and one for linux users. The windows version works by dragging&dropping over the script you want to use, while the linux version will work with terminal commans (very simple commands though). What's inside? For windows version the scripts are batch files and for linux bash files , but the names are the same and they do same thing: clear_all will clear the working folder deleting any unpacked boot/recovery folder, but not the boot or recovery files (original or repacked). image_info will print on screen all informations about the image you want to check (sizes, offsets, cmdline, etc.) and all these infos will be saved in a text file (which will be deleted when you clear the folder - see point 1). Windows 10 will soon include ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ kaomoji

Microsoft is making it easier for you to send ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ kaomoji from a Windows 10 PC to friends or coworkers. In a new test build of Windows 10 ( 18305 ), Microsoft has added kaomoji face characters that are accessible through the same existing emoji shortcut (win+period). While you’ll be able to pick from a number of kaomoji, the feature will also include quick access to em dash and other symbols. If you’re a writer, you already know how difficult it is to remember the alt key codes for the em dash, so this will certainly simplify things.
