I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S5 (AT&T) with cricket. Since the phone works flawlessly with just the cricket SIM in the phone. I had no reason to get it unlocked or had to change any internal apn settings. Just picked up a new T-mobile M8 after my GS4 decided to die on me. Been trying to read up everything, but just wanted to make sure before I started flashing. I'm currently on bone stock T-mobile 4.4.2 firmware. Hi, I recently purchased the Lenova A6000 phone and i see the GPS sensor not working on this phone.. Saw it shows location ok sometimes but doesn't move while navigating, so Installed the Androsensor application to verify and found the provider field is always "network".. Never find it as GPS. I got this phone about 1-1.5 months ago and it has been great to me except for one issue. When I got the phone, I rooted it and installed Carbon rom 4.4.4 on it. Everything worked great except for one big problem. When making or receiving a call, the phone would go straight to lock (screen off). the call would still go through but the phone would become very slow to wake back to the screen, and after unlocking, the Phone app (teleservice.apk) would not respond to any touch input. This meant I could not access my voice-mail, as I could not enter the pin. Using Developer options i was able to confirm that the touchscreen was still functioning. I had originally thought this was an issue with the specific version of CarbonRom that I had installed on the phone, so i posted to their thread in the hopes i could get an update/answer. So my phone is having a problem, not sure if it is a bootloop or what :confused: Whenever my I tried to reboot my phone, it'll show my desktop for about 2-3 seconds then it reboots again and again. I have to removed my battery for about 30 minutes then put it back on and if im lucky, it'll boot successfully. Hey there, I have broken the screen on my Samsung galaxy S4 GT-19506 (The glass and the LCD), I am planning to buy a Samsung galaxy s4 GT-19505 which works except it can not get reception (Locked to network) and just take the component out from it and put the components from my GT-19506 in it so everything will be the same except the screen. Will this work? I know the GT-19506 has a better cpu and 4g but if does it have the same screen and screen connection? So I lasted about 3 days before I had to root my N6. So I did, using Wugs toolkit. After rooting and going through the process, my phone still said it was encrypted and I still had to enter the pattern to turn my phone on. However, after installing TWRP recovery and manager, my phone says it's still encrypted, but I no longer have to enter my pattern to turn on my phone. Is this normal? Is my phone still encrypted? Hi All, Yesterday i was encrypting my OnePlus One (had no custom ROM or anything, with CM11S). Everything went well, it completed the whole encryption process. After that it restarted, but since then I am unable to access any of my previous data. It is showing like a newly bought phone, asking me to setup accounts etc. But the storage still has the data, as the storage capacity is showing 20gb used. When i restart my phone, it asks me to enter password to decrypt the storage. I am doing it, but it is still not showing anything. I have some important stuff in the phone and cannot lose the data. Hi there, I am running CM12 (Lollipop) on my HTC Desire HD and was very excited to see it on there But now I feel like the experience is choppy at best. Yes I can overclock and underclock but I have a couple questions: a) Is there a typical process that can be halted that would improve the performance of the phone when running CM12? b) As an older guy, I'm a little old school. I want to see my old phone be zippy and light (ie getting the most out of the old hardware while maintaining fluidity). Thank you Samsung for letting down the 910U. There are absolutely no excuses to take so much time to update all variants. Too many variants and inability to maintain them... Never expected releases to come as fast as on my Nexus 5, but that bad is really a shame (Other manufacturers have already updated their flagships) With all these different models of the same phone, Samsung has managed to create an extra fragmentation level of the already fragmented Android. Amazing. And I don't want to hear that is maybe because we'll get a newer version than 5.0.1 or an improved Touchwiz (Like was speculated as an explanation for the very slow initial rollout of Lollipop). Most likely well get finally 5.0.1 when everybody will be on 5.1 I came back to Samsung after a few years (My last one was a Tab 7.7). Definitely amazing hardware each band every time. Hi all, I'm facing a really weird problem with my Z2. I use a pair of Creative EP-630s with my Z2 and PowerAmp as my music player app. Yesterday, while playing music, suddenly my earphones went silent. I thought the jack was loose, and tried pushing it hard into the phone output jack - doing which I noticed a split second of music output before it went silent again. I tried doing this a few more times with the same result and gave up. Later I tried the noise cancelling NC31 earphones which came with the phone and it started playing music normally. No problems whatsoever. I tried the EP-630 again, and I got the same split second audio and silence. I tried 2-3 other earphones on it, and all of them played split second audio and then went silent. However, the NC-31 is playing fine. There is no problem with the EP630 as it is playing fine on my other phones. I tried restarting, leaving the phone off for a period and then turning it on, but to no avail. If it's a HW problem then the...

I apologize for the bad title, When I connect to my Mi Band via BT, my WiFi stops functioning. If I disable BT, WiFi starts working, but then I can't connect to BT. I'm trying to find a keyboard shortcut for my Nexus 7 2013 that will trigger the Recent Apps screen to come up. I know that ALT-TAB will let me scroll through the recent apps list, but that's not what I'm looking for. What I need is a keyboard shortcut that behaves exactly like the Recent Apps button on the nav bar, just bring up the Recent Apps screen and sit there and wait for more input. So, I'm trying to grab some images from an APK, and I renamed it to a .zip file and accessed its contents. In the 'assets' folder there is only the splash screen and a file named "game.droid", 2.5 mb. Seems like it was made with "YoYoGames Studio" or something. Is there any way to get the images? Hi guys. I'm trying to fix this phone for my brother. He said he went to factory reset and wiped his phone. (I put it in ADB mode to show more of the messages. I never flashed anything from ADB) So it looked like he managed to wipe his systems so I downloaded Odin, installed the drivers and got the stock firmware from sammobile for his model. Kernel is not seandroid enforcing? the writing that comes up when I turn my phone on or when its charging- I have no boot loop issued - kernel is not seandroid enforcing or something similar but I don't see any reference to that in this forum that has to do with just removing or hiding this "error" from what I gather it happened by not backing up something properly that I could restore to the phone afterwords. Hallo, Ich habe das HTC Desire EYE und habe festgestellt das bei eingehenden Anrufen und Benachrichtigungen immer nur der untere Lautsprecher geht! Ist das normal? Beim normalen Abspielen von Musik oder in den Töne Einstellungen funktionieren die Lautsprecher ja auch alle beide! Aber Wenn eine Benachrichtigung wie Anruf,Whatsapp,Messenger,Wecker oder sonst was ankommt geht immer nur der untere Lautsprecher. I was wondering is it is at all possible to swap an SCH-i545 Logic Motherboard (Unlocked) inside the SCH-R970? I researched the comparisons of both S4's and found that they are the only 2 that the internal layout (locations of all the components) match. Though most everything are interchangeable, I am under the impression that if i swapped the R970 Logic Motherboard with the i545, i would essentially have a Verizon i545. So I have had this phone for a while now and at first it was amazing. But after a while it became really laggy. And now the side panel is giving me problems. It suppose to go away when you touch the main screen so its not in the way of you doing whatever you are doing. Instead it stays up and is getting really annoying! Specially when im watching a movie on my phone. A notification would pop up on the edge panel and instead of going away it stays up with all the side apps i have on there. I have an SCH-i545 and It was recently on NK1, I downgraded to NC5 and used towelroot. Did a factory wipe from the recovery, but now I cant get either TWRP or CWM to load? HI all, and I hope i'm posting in the right area for this. My first android phone is the LG G3 which I just received several weeks ago. As you can see from the included picture I've started enjoying some of the customizable options. I ran across one problem though and haven't had much luck searching google for a solution or even knowing what to search for. I have thousands of music files on my SD card. The stock music player seems to only be able to access and read ( when in shuffle mode under tracks ) some of my songs , meaning the ones only under tracks heading in shuffle mode. A little bit of research made me believe that the reason only half of my songs are listed under tracks is that the rest are within sub folders on the SD card and not accessible under tracks to be played via the shuffle method. Hi! After a review of many upgrade videos on various sites and forum, I had decided to upgrade Android 4.4.2 on my Note II (N7100) to Android 5. It may be noted that I have not flashed my root. After the initial wipes and factory reset, the next step was to go to advanced setup and perform a Dalvik wipe. However, under the recovery menu I was unable to find this option. The forum also suggested to install the Cyanogenmod zip file. Though I had the same copied on the SD card it did not recognize while flashing. Tried installing the google apps and even that did not install. Finally, the system did an automatic restart and the OS was restored to Android 4.4.2. I have not been able to update to TWRP 2.8.5.0 from 2.8.0.3, every time I end up hanging in entering recovering in the white boot screen. I have tried fastboot and the RUU method, I always end up reinstalling the 2.8.0.3 TWRP to get recovery back. I checked the firmware everything is up to date but hboot currently on 16 latest is 19. Hey guys, mine just came in the mail today. Out of box it had D80020y 4.4.2. I used Stump to root, installed SuperSU, and then used AutoRec to install TWRP 2.7.0.0 and now I'm on 2.8.5.1. I BELIEVE it broke while doing a large Titanium Backup restore installing all my apps, but it's also possible it broke before that, while installing 2.7.0.0-- after 2.7.0.0 installed I made a backup before I started with the Titanium restores. Restoring back to the pre-Titanium restore point hasn't brought the DT2W back. Here's what I know -I'm pretty sure it was still working after Stump to root. -Somewhere after installing SuperSU I seem to have lost the DT2W. so i was trying to restock my phone because i couldnt update it and the camera was buggy and gps was buggy. i originally soft rooted my phone, but i removed my root but apparently not well enough because i could not boot into recovery mode and i could not reformat or do a system wipe. wow thats a big run on.. you can see how anxious i am. So now i turned to odin. and i followed some steps to restock. Odin kept failing my phone would note : "sw rev check fail : [aboot] Fused 3> binary 1" so i tried a few times doing things like changing the usb, different version of odin, removing the sd.... my biggest problem was when i tried to install a PIT file in hopes of restocking. well that didnt work and now its telling me "firware upgrade encounter an issue. I've been enjoying my Shield since I got it 2 months ago, and like the original Kitkat look to it, the background and the colors. Well after upgrading to Lollipop I was horrified to see that the color theme is completely opposite. The app drawer is white!!!! How awful is that? Then allowed it to dry now i picked it up after an hour and now the screen flicks when I tap it. My Xperia Ray Running on Kitkat 4.4.4 is facing a sudden battery drain. When the battery is about 20-25%, It suddenly drops down to 1%. :crying: Is there any method to solve this?
